After Sun Spray with Essential Oils

For many of us, we try our best to continuously reapply sunscreen to our little ones throughout the summer days, but every once in awhile we miss a few spots. This DIY recipe will be the perfect relief for those overexposed sun days!

Ingredients:

  • 8 oz Glass spray bottle (I bought mine on aromatools)
  • 8 drops of Lavender essential oil
  • 8 drops of Roman Chamomile essential oil (if you don’t have any use Peppermint/Melaleuca)
  • 1/4 Fractionated Coconut oil
  • 1/2 cup Aloe Vera
  • 1 teaspoon Vitamin E

Directions:

Add all the ingredients together in the bottle and apply as needed!

Side note: I notice a little skin peeling on my legs, I used the spray twice a day and it quickly stopped the peeling.

A note on essential oil quality: I only use the highest quality, therapeutic grade essential oils.  All of these suggestions are based off the assumption that high-quality essential oils are being used.
